A wonderful variety of food brought a special surprise to Southgate Mosque's Kindness Bank, including fresh turmeric for the very first time. A heartfelt reminder of gratitude, generosity and the blessings of sharing with our community.

At Southgate Mosque’s Kindness Bank, it’s not always about the quantity of food we distribute, but the wonderful variety and blessings that reach those we serve.

One particularly lovely surprise during our food bank session was fresh turmeric, something we had never received before! A welcome seasonal addition, known for its natural antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

We are incredibly grateful to Allah (SWT) for His endless blessings and to our fantastic partners, donors and volunteers who make this work possible.

Together, we’re supporting our local community, sharing kindness and saving perfectly good food from going to landfill.

Alhamdulillah for every blessing, big or small.
